In this video you will see simultaneous Electron Beam preheating, welding and cosmetic surface treatment all in a single pass. PTR’s EBO Jump high speed deflection system allows time sharing of the beam between up to four vectorizable pools, which can be used for heating, welding and surface treatment. The beam moves so rapidly between pools that for most practical applications it appears to be in multiple locations simultaneously.
