Hamilton Standard W2 150kV EB Welder --SOLD--
This Hamilton Standard W2 150kV welding system was originally built in 1970 and upgraded in the 1980's. This model includes a ribbon filament gun assembly, high resolution monocular eyepiece optics, rotary tilt fixture with manual Z lift, nude filament illuminator assembly and W2 operators console with display of vacuum, beam current, focus current and filament current as well as operation of machine functions.
This system is available "as is" or we can modify it for your specific requirements.
CHAMBER SIZE: 108" Long x 60" Wide X 72" High
POWER SUPPLY: 25 kW (150 kV at 167 mA) high voltage that was retrofitted with a 1980's style IKE fast beam current control & SCR voltage regulation.
SYSTEM CONTROL: Original, pre-PLC controls manually operated by the welder.
X-Y WORK TABLE: Controlled X- and Y-axis table assembly 53" long by 28" wide with strokes of 54" in the X-axis and 26" in the Y-axis. The table is capable of supporting 2,000 pounds. The X motion is rack driven while the Y axis utilizes a ball screw assembly with bar slide.
