Contract Welding
PTR is a NADCAP certified supplier of EB Job Shop services and is the only job shop to offer its customers a complete range of electron beam processing capabilities including 60 kV, 150 kV and partial/high vacuum electron beam welding. These systems are supported by a staff of highly qualified equipment operators and backed by professionals with extensive technical and metallurgical expertise. Our EB Job Shop Services include the full range from production and prototype welding to weld process development for parts ranging from several ounces to several tons.
Our operators are certified welders skilled at high energy beam welding for a variety of industries including aircraft components and PTR is an FAA certified repair station for EB Welding.
Systems Manufacturing
PTR specializes in designing and constructing electron beam welding systems using proven technologies that meet demanding customer specifications. By applying a modular approach to system design and using industry standard components, higher quality machines can be manufactured at lower investment costs. This concept results in Electron Beam (EB) Welders that are easier to operate and maintain.
High or partial vacuum and either high or low voltage EBW units are standard products. Depending upon your specific requirements these systems are available with vacuum chambers of virtually any size. Also available are Non-Vacuum systems for electron beam welding at atmospheric pressure, providing higher welding speeds and the shortest cycle times.
Long term relationships with our customers and technical feedback from PTR's job shop guides the efforts of engineering and have led to increase functionality, reliability and ergonomics. Continuous improvements have earned PTR's equipment the benchmark status in its field.
